No one had to train Him, prophecy to Him, nor beg Him to be the servant. He took it upon Himself for the betterment of Mankind.
Books, sermons, classes are rampant about becoming an Apostle, following the Apostolic and it’s becoming an epidemic.
It’s much better to be an epistle of Christ that can be known and read by men than to be an apostle with an agenda that says follow me because I am an apostle.
Many ministries are taking on the image of the apostle rather than the Image of Christ.
When Pastors are looked down on as lowly and must address the apostle as such, then it gets to be the image of the apostle that is the main thing.
The main thing is to keep the main thing, the main thing.
Yes, the office of Apostle is a sacred office and must be respected and honored as any other ministry, but many are losing their way and are not servants to the people. Even Jesus said that He didn’t come to be served but to serve.
Many of the armor bearers have become pall bearers because they are carrying the coats of dead ministries, that have lost their way. If ministry does not smell like sheep then they are not shepherding the sheep.
If the ministry has never washed the saints feet then I doubt their position is as sacred to them as it should be.
I hear it now how washing the saints feet is only symbolic, and yes, I knew you would say that and I know many don’t want to get their hands dirty on church members feet. But somebody needs to bridge the gap between the pulpit and the pew, to care about those that can’t help themselves where they are and need real people, with a real ministry to pick up the heavy hearted and bless them. We have blessed those that have followed us, that have giftings and spoken royal things to them and placed them in high esteem, and ignored the down & out and those that couldn’t make us look good.
The high & mighty ministry types that are afraid to get in the ditches with the hurting is not what is going to bring the Move of God to this earth.
It is those that care about the sheep, and love them more than they love their cars and clothes.
It’s the Lamb’s Agenda that needs to be foremost in our minds.
